Helping gaming-focused SEN and hard-to-reach learners (ages 6-12) turn their screen time into real skills through coding, video games, and digital technology.
We dive straight into environments they already care about, such as Minecraft. By using familiar games, their attention and enthusiasm are captured from the very first session.
I guide learning through what they’re already excited about and teach skills they genuinely want to develop.
We don’t just focus on the technical skills. We look at building confidence, independence, and more developmental skills that they can use every day.
We look at embedding industry-standard skills from the get-go, such as planning, designing, and creative problem-solving to give learners a head-start.
I understand that every child is different and one size doesn’t fit all, which is why I offer taster sessions: so that I can get to know your child and understand their needs, interests, and learning styles.
From there, sessions are fully adapted to suit them, creating a comfortable, low-pressure, supportive learning environment where they can thrive.
“Evie was very anxious about communicating at first. Ethan made her feel comfortable and waited until she was regulated to engage in her own way. This then meant Evie has been able to access Minecraft learning because of Ethan’s perseverance and patience (and understanding), and now Evie wants to work with Ethan every session!”
“Ethan is fab. He works with my little boy, who is autistic. Ethan is patient and takes his time. My son was very shy and struggled with sessions, but Ethan put him at ease, and they have a lovely relationship now. They talk about everything Mario and Minecraft. My son’s confidence has grown hugely since working with Ethan. I would highly recommend him.”
“Ethan has always been so welcoming, friendly, supportive and encouraging with teaching my son coding and modding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for tutoring.”
